Go to the follow link in official Weintek webpage and download free Software EasyBuilder Pro Downlaoad Easybuilder Pro webpage Weintek; Register with your information and then login

Open Easybuilder Pro and start to create our first simple SCADA!

Choose HMI Model and start to configure!

Go to Software Logo Soft Comfort and will create a "Start - Stop"; and activate a "Output", Also will create 2 buttons that in the moment of press in HMI you can too Start or Stop

Very important have in consideration:

• For begin to create Buttons in HMI Weintek must to create FLAGS "M" in our Logo! Software
• First create a COIL "M" and let it in a side without connect anything
• Then yo must to create Open and Closed Contacts with the name of the FLAG "M"
• We are ready to create the buttons in a HMI!

Back to HMI Software and start with the configurations

Create a New Project and then must to select the right HMI that will use, if you choose the wrong HMI in the moment of upload program you may have problems

Now must to ADD the PLC that works with the HMI; Let's add a PLC Logo Siemens

Identify:

• PLC Model: In this case we choose a PLC Logo Siemens
• Communication: This is the Protocol of Communication between PLC and HMI, will work with the default PORT Communication in a PLC Logo Siemens, ETHERNET
• COM: This is the PLC Port, a simple PLC Logo uses single port ETHERNET TCP/IP

Finally we can see we've add PLC Logo to the list by Ethernet Communication

Now that the Hardware PLC and HMI have been configurated start to programming!

This is the main screen when you start

First we gonna create a simple "Digital Output or 0-1" from Bit Lamp, we add the address Q1 that means is directly relationated with Digital Output "Q1" from PLC (remember Step 2 in Logo Soft Comfort

Then to begin with the from go to "Shape" and here is how we choose the variable looks like; "0" => OFF or "1" => ON

Go to Picture Library and here is where HMI give us the option to create variables and choose differents

This options mainly shows how HMI works over a Output when is OFF "0" or ON "1"

Finally our Bit Lamp will be the real Digital Output Q1 from PLC Logo Siemens

Now gonna create our 2 buttons in HMI that too may Start o Stop the Digital Output Q1, go to "Toggle Switch

In this case create 2 differentes buttons, 1 means START (M1) and other to STOP (M2); remember these values were created in Logo Soft Comfort

Our simple and first project looks like simple but is very important to understand the concepts

Follow next steps of the image

• Stay in Logo Soft Comfort and go to Tools => Ethernet Connections
• Add the HMI Weintek IP, remember the communication between HMI Weintek and PLC Logo is via Ethernet TCP/IP
• Add the IP 192.168.0.4 in HMI, remember you can change the IP directly in the HMI Screen
• Submask value by default
• Gateway should be configured in the IPV4 Configuration from the Computer
• Add a new Server Configuration and add the information that we have gotten in the momento we configured HMI Software

The procedure to get all succefull are the next steps

• Compilate our program to have no errors
• Download our program into the HMI and then into PLC, when both programs are downloaded, you can disconnect from the Computer and connect PLC Logo and HMI Weintek with the same Patch Cord Cable
• IP Address of HMI you can modify in "Network => IP Address"
• Any modification in touch screen must to be uploades; all modification in PLC (Software PLC) must to upload in PLC and in HMI too (in case of change the Tags M1, M2, Q1, etc)
• The right way to create BUTTONS in HMI is creating "M" in the PLC Software
• Finally connect the Patch Cord Ethernet Cale between PLC and HMI
